ANTARCTICA
CRUISE TO THE END OF THE WORLD
“ Just like a different planet... ”
For three days in January, the Azamara Pursuit sailed the Antarctic Peninsula. To be honest, Antarctica literally is a different world, with its own weather, rules, and up to four hours of sunrises and sunsets. it is remote, isolated and still. I could not be thankful more for this great opportunity. It has been an unforgettable experience, that I will not soon forget. I hope you enjoy this collection of frozen tundras to waddling penguins.

The penguins colony is up there on the rock.
Five scientists, who worked on Deception Island, came aboard our ship to tell us about life at the “Edge of the World” and about the scientists mission: to explore Antarctica and educate others about the natural wild life there.
